Daraja means bridge. MyDaraja is Ghana’s first university super-app built to connect students to their campus, their country, and their continent.
"Our mission is to build the digital infrastructure that every Ghanaian university student deserves and has never had."
Today, Ghanaian university students navigate a fragmented world. They queue for hours to register courses, miss lectures because no one told them about a venue change, and search for accommodation without proper tools. Campus life in Ghana is rich, vibrant, and full of potential — but the systems that support students have not kept pace.
MyDaraja was built to change that. We created one platform that handles everything a student needs — from academics and accommodation to campus commerce and social connection — so students can focus on what matters: learning, growing, and becoming who they are meant to be.

Daraja is a Swahili word meaning bridge — the most widely spoken language in Africa, a thread that connects the continent across borders, cultures, and generations.
A bridge closes the distance between where you are and where you want to be. MyDaraja closes the distance between Ghanaian students and the tools, connections, and opportunities they deserve.
We named it My Daraja because it's your platform — not an institution or a corporation. It's built for students, by people who remember what it felt like to want better tools.
"MyDaraja. Your bridge. It belongs to you."

"I did not build MyDaraja because I saw a market opportunity. I built it because I saw Ghanaian students who deserved better tools and no one was building them."
Eric Tetteh Mensah is not your typical tech founder. He is a serving officer of the Ghana Police Service who spent years watching the systems around him fail the people they were meant to serve. He saw it on campus. He saw it in the community. And he decided to do something about it.
The idea for MyDaraja was born out of personal frustration and civic responsibility. Eric experienced firsthand the chaos of Ghanaian university life — the missing notices, the inefficient accommodation processes, the disconnection between students and the institutions meant to support them.
Instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, he began building. Through nights and weekends, around his duties as a police officer, he assembled the vision and architecture for what would become Ghana’s most ambitious student technology platform.
MyDaraja is his bridge — from the Ghana he knows to the Ghana he believes students deserve. It is a project driven not by profit, but by purpose.

MyDaraja Technologies Limited is a Ghanaian civic technology company with a singular mandate: to build the digital infrastructure that Ghanaian university students need to thrive in a connected world. We are not a startup chasing growth at all costs. We are an institution builder — methodical, principled, and deeply committed to the communities we serve.
Our focus is Ghana first — not because we lack ambition, but because we believe that building right is more important than building fast. Every feature, every partnership, and every decision is measured against one question: does this make life better for a Ghanaian student today?
Every design decision, every feature, every partnership is filtered through one question: does this work for a Ghanaian student today? We build for the context that exists, not the one we wish existed.
Campus safety is not optional. MyDaraja uses real identity verification, moderated communities, and transparent reporting systems to ensure every student on the platform is who they say they are.
We start in Ghana because Ghana deserves it. But our ambition does not stop at the border. MyDaraja is the first step in a pan-African infrastructure that connects a generation across the continent.
We never sell student data. We never let advertiser pressure shape the product. Students are not our product — they are our purpose, and every business decision reflects that commitment.
Your Campus, fully connected.
The foundation of MyDaraja. Every Ghanaian university student gets access to their campus portal — course registration, lecture schedules, accommodation listings, campus news, and student communities — free, forever. This is the right that every student deserves.
Every student in Country, one network.
The foundation of MyDaraja. Every National university student gets access to their campus portal — course registration, lecture schedules, accommodation listings, campus news, and student communities — free, forever. This is the right that every student deserves.
One continent. One generation.
Connect with university students across Africa — exchange programs, pan-African student communities, continental career networks, and cross-border opportunities. This is the infrastructure a generation of African students will use to change the world.
"We are not building an app. We are building the infrastructure that a generation of African university students will use to connect, grow, and change the continent."
We are completing the MyDaraja platform, finalising university partnerships, and preparing for our 2026 pilot launch at KNUST in Kumasi. The infrastructure is being laid.
Following a successful KNUST launch, we roll out across 40+ Ghanaian universities. Ghana Connect becomes the national standard for student digital life, with 100,000 active students.
MyDaraja crosses Ghana's borders. We expand into West Africa and beyond, building the pan-African student network that connects a generation and powers the continent's future.
MyDaraja is more than a student app — it is the primary digital environment for a generation of Ghanaian young people at their most formative moment. The businesses, universities, and organisations that partner with us now will build relationships that last decades.
MyDaraja directly addresses UN Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 9 (Innovation and Infrastructure). We are actively seeking development partners, impact investors, and grant bodies who share our belief that African students deserve world-class digital tools. If your mandate includes African youth, education technology, or digital equity — we should talk.
Every great journey begins by crossing a bridge. Yours is waiting.
